Base Shoal desk
Base has no pool. Leave your order here with its own price limit; it crosses to the one pool on Ethereum with its round, fills there against that limit, and comes home. The limit is worked out on this page from the Ethereum pool's price now and the slippage you choose.
Not on chain yet
The Shoal is not deployed
There is no Shoal on Base yet, so no orders can be taken. This desk opens with the pool.
Opening soon
The pool is not open yet
The Shoal is on Base, but the one pool on Ethereum is not open, so there is no price to set a limit from. This page checks every 15 seconds and reloads itself when the pool opens.

Close
Open when the round is cheap (its cost at most 1% of its value at the last price), when all 64 berths are live, or 30 minutes after its first order. You send the fee to Ethereum and postage for the trip home. When the round comes home you are repaid from the orders' shares of the cost (both fees and a 0.00002 ETH tip) and get back the postage the trip home did not use. An order's share never passes 2% of what it filled; past that, you carry the rest.
Express close
Open at any time while the round has a live order. You pay the round's whole cost and the orders pay nothing; the postage the trip home did not use still comes back to you. Buys in an express round spend all their ETH, with nothing held back.
This page sends 3% more than closeFee() as a margin, in case another order joins first; the margin rides as postage and comes back with the round.

Held for you
Claim
ETH is pushed to each order's address with 30,000 gas. An address that refuses it (a contract wallet that needs more gas, for one) is credited instead, and claim() pays it.
